Mariah Carey drops a new album on May 27th I expect there to be a considerable amount of whistle notes on the album, since its basically her trademark. But the question is are we happy with that? Over the years her voice has declined mostly likely due to rigorous tours and singing excessively live for so many years.

The Songs released so far have pretty much bombed on the charts, Do you remember triumph?

Although i love this song it went no where and all of a sudden  it was no longer single. So did this song: 

This song is really good but these kind of songs don't get much traction if you don't push them, there was no video done for this song, i am guessing this was dropped as a single as well.

This song the most successful of the bunch was never really strongly followed up on. This was released nearly a year ago, a year ago!!! How is she releasing an album with little to no anticipation, or lead single?

 I guess You're Mine (Eternal) is the lead single, which they are starting to deny now. In other words the album is coming out with no singles, although we know what it is, the singles are failing. Some of the songs are good and strong but they are not getting the masses to flock over. A lot of these songs are R&B and we know R&B doesn't do as well as pop. Mariah has ton of crossover potential but the songs honestly do not.

I am a big fan of Mariah but i just do not see this album doing well.

 We'll keep up with the new whistles though, even if we are the only ones.
